Press-in cover caps for drilled "head-hole" screw
What are Stemfix?Stemfix are for use with drilled "head-hole" screws such as Hospa and Superchip. Stemfix have a positive grip that is easy to fit, but difficult to remove. Why use Head-Hole screws and Stemfix?Head-hole screws are considerably more expensive than normal chipboard screws. However, the interference fit of the cap stem in the drilled hole does make the cap more difficult to remove from the fastener. This is often an important feature on furniture or in kitchens where young children are around. As Stemfix will still work, even when the head of the screw is 2.5mm below the worksurface, use of head-hole screws and Stemfix allows utilisation of less skilled labour for the fitting of the screws (they do not have to be flush with the worksurface). How do Stemfix work?Stemfix caps utilise the same low-profile crown as used on the Bifix - making it one of the lowest-profile and smooth transition (essential when wiping a cloth over)caps available. Stemfix are high-quality mouldings. Are Stemfix easy to use? It's easier than A-B-C. In fact it's as easy as 1-2!
Will Stemfix really hide screws? With 98 moulded plastic colours, Stemfix can match nearly all major laminate colours and patterns Stemfix can be used anywhere a secure cap that will not brush or vibrate loose such as:
